This is Approximately 1/12 of a Simmental X Angus X Hereford cross beef, which are grass fed and grain finished on at least 100 days of barley and are usually around 20months old. These small boxes are a great option to try an assortment of different cuts, without spending a large amount of money all at once and they fit great in a small above fridge freezer. These small boxes will weigh between 32-38 lbs and cost between $351-$420. A typical small box can include 10-17lbs of 90/10 ground beef in 1lb packages. There should be 1-2, 2-3lb roasts And a mix of 1” thick steaks: porterhouse, t bone, rib, sirloin, round, and chuck steaks As well as some extras like stew meat, cube steaks, and soup bones These small boxes vary a little bit but I do my best to split a whole beef into 12 even boxes.
